Washington Redskins win again on the road and this time at the St. Louis Rams with a 17-10 victory, thus taking them to a 3-1 record for the first time since 2008. The most impressive stat for me was the 3 quarter shut outs that enabled the Skins to get to a 17-0 lead. Grossman again threw well and hooked up on a couple of big plays to post 15 comps from 29 attempts for 143 yards and 1 TD. Not the greatest of stats but both defences were on top in this game... He did throw 2 interceptions but i dont think that we are returning to his past trait of giving it away on the big plays...

Washington held the Rams to only 172yards net total, compared to the Redskins 339 yards, and although they have a 0-4 record the defensive display will only help for the future when they come up against the big boys of the leagues. With a team total of 7 sacks the defense is posting numbers that can push the Skins into contention for the play-offs, something that will be needed...

With Dallas and Philly both losing it leaves the Redskins top with the Giants next. Along way to go but im hoping for a good season in which we can make the play-offs and maybe a top finish in the division...

No match next week as its a bye but a big test on the return with the visit of the 1-3 Philly Eagles...
