Well its nearly that time of year again where we get linked to any ex Gills player that we can think of and any other potential transfer dealings so thought we could use this as the thread for the Jan transfer window.

So let's get things going. The aforementioned Simeon Jackson must be worth a shout? Does every other window<laugh>

I'm still holding out for Chris Dickson to re-sign for us though <whistle>

Right to get things going then Taylor has come and stated that he is looking to ship 5 or 6 players out of the club whilst also trying to extend the loans of Doughty, Ehmer and Lennon. Not sure if Charlton will agree to the Lennon deal but the other 2 are definitely possible.

KM have rumoured that German and Linganzi maybe players to make way in January, German I can understand but Linganzi I would keep in the squad because of his technique. I personally would imagine that Fish, Barrett, Hoyte and McKain to be the other players that leave either permanently or extended loans. I hate to say it but at the moment we can't rule out Keds being sent out either. One potential curve ball could be Josh Pritchard though, not had an awful lot of game time recently and with Aaron Morris returning from injury, he's probably likely to drop down the pecking order. PT might want to send him out for a month or so just to get some game time.

Well what are people's thoughts or interpretations of this? http://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway/sport/taylor-preparing-for-busy-january-29071/

Junior Lewis on a four year playing contract.

Honestly, if AFC Wimbledon can sign Barrett on contract terms and we can get rid of German I think we could make 2 signings not including the loan extensions. I imagine this is going to be a very much one in, one out unless we sign some underplayed championship players at which point I believe it would be two out one in. Rowan Vine?

I think Wimbledon have offered him a 2 and a half year deal from what I read the other day. I would like him though and he would probably work well with Keds.

Josh Wright has been released by Millwall, probably off to a League One club. We could put ourselves in the mix for him.

We need a Matt Smith type of player who can work alongside Cody Mac and terrorise defences.............or another Taylor and Asaba partnership. What price would they fetch now........way out of our league.

Frank Nouble released today. He would be a great signing. I think him and Cody would work very well together.

Out of favour Notts County striker Danny Haynes is rumoured to have been training with us for the last couple of days. Hasn't got a great goal return but has scored goals at every club he's been at. Can also play Right Midfield and at 27, actually has some experience. Uninspiring but could be a good addition to the squad perhaps.
