Yes 20 years ago at 1.05pm two members of the IRA planted a bomb in a fish shop on the Shankill road. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and the 5th bomb on the Shankill that did not give a warning. Thomas Begley and Sean Kelly both dressed up in white overalls do deliver the bomb with a 11 second timer on it. The bomb went off prematurely instantly ripping Begley to pieces. The result killed 9 innocent people and injured approx 60 more with many still suffering to this day from their injuries. The bomber who survived was given 9 life sentences but served only 6 years in prison. The target for the attack was a UDA meeting above the shop. The meeting was postponed and the room above the shop was not used for meetings like this. The result. 9 innocent people murdered which would lead to retaliatory killings culminating in the Greysteel massacre. Sean Kelly now walks free and only days ago unveiled a memorial to the dead bomber Begley. What a fitting way to remember a man that ended his life by killing 9 people including 2 children.
They are. They firebombed a B&M store the other day in the centre of Belfast. They're really gonna **** people off when the start taking out all the Poundlands! Seen as a major own goal for the RA as about 10 Catholics were murdered in the weeks after that.

Random killings of innocent people, utterly appalling. Mind you, the murder of innocent people because of their religion is even more heinous.
I'm sure they had a good guess what the religion of near 100% of the people on the Shankill were. As for the retaliation, Protestants were also killed by the UDA.

Bombs, even took out a helicopter, cattle across the border, amongst other things...Now you are saying that they have to resort back to firebombing some ****y shop?
