Apologies if this has been covered before...... Has anyone read the secret footballer book series? Does anyone know his real indentity? I’m guessing Graham Lesaux, David Batty someone of that ilk Help please!! It’s annoying trying to piece together all the clues..late starter into football, worked his way up from the lower leagues & spent his later years in the premier league
I have, and it's an entertaining read. The bits on City are very interesting, although they don't form too much of the book. With the Secret Footballer, I thought the consensus was that it was three or four footballers, as some of the details they'd mentioned were inconsistent with each other. Lee Hendrie and Michael Turner were rumoured at one point.
