When the fixture list came out i never expected many points if any from the first 4 games after all we have played last seasons top 3 in the first 4 games.Some fans seem to think we should be top of the league after 2 promotions in 2 season listening to them on Solent and some on here also. All i can say is the are deluded.Like i said after seeing the first 4 fixtures and i have always felt that the season starts next week. So COYR Pre-season is over Nigel Adkins will get the boys to learn from there mistakes. Saints will now start getting points on the board. COYR I for one have faith.
Adkins will have a week now to get all the new players integrated into the squad and get todays result out of the system. We need to lerarn from our mistakes of the first four but this is where we can now start getting points on the board. We've played the top three so hopefully it will get a little easier while teams we expect to be around us start having to play the big boys. A win next week and we could be out of the bottom three, I would take that after 5 games.
