I posted back in April (can't remember which thread) that this might happen. And of course there's still the question whether this is Felix re-inforcing a fitness regime or whether it's to allow him one final assessment of which players to keep:

"Felix Magath has taken the extraordinary move of making his Fulham players return for extra training after the season has ended.

And there's worse news to come for the beleaguered west Londoners, as their German manager has informed the players training will last until at least the end of the week - but could go beyond."

Story which includes a farewell message from Lewis Holtby: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...agath-orders-Fulham-flops-training-following-

Strange decision, I would have thought that an extra long pre-season would be more beneficial than an extra week at the end of this year. Or maybe he plans on doing both.

I would imagine its not only training outside but I think he's having long chats with every player to find out where they are in terms of playing for Fulham next year. Probably also asking what the bloody hell they were doing all season. That's what I would be doing. Is there a job going?

We had a terrible season and were relegated. I wonder whether Magath is trying to make a point to the shirkers that they may have completely screwed our club, but they will not be waltzing off into the sunset yet.

He may be looking for who throws themselves into it and who shows signs of resenting the extra week. Perhaps this is part of his process of working out who has the right character for his squad next season and weeding out the big egos. Good for him.

Agreed. Another "shot across the bow" to would-be FFC players. Let in line and start goose-stepping, b#$%3s.

I believe they are all contracted at least end of May... Felix is merely doing his job something that these flops have failed to do the last 9 months!

I thought this was going to be a QPR thread, our season doesn't end until Saturday.
