Here's a link to the interview if you missed it. I think he came across really well and positively. And it's good to know my sources were correct, and he did indeed turn down the job at Cardiff. Good on him! I like him more and more by the minute! http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...0/exclusive-dyche-relishing-watford-challenge
good interview!! praising us fans and he even has a sense of humour!!! A wise head on young (in managerial terms) shoulders. Sean Dyche's barmy army!!!!
He came across very well , Dont you just love that gravelly voice, Spends wisely a few players in ,time to mould them into his system , we could yet be ok! Loved his get my coat comment! SEAN DYCHES TAYLOR MADE ARMY(SDTMA)
Came across very well, as he said he's made lots of contacts in his time in football, let's hope a few of them will feel they can loan out players to us and SD will bring them on. Regards an assistant is it feasible to have a player/assistant ie; Martin Taylor? one way to keep him out of MM's clutches
Don't see why you can't have a Player-Assistant, but think I'd prefer an older head on the bench next to him. What I owuld be doing is speaking to the likes of Taylor and Eustace about sticking with Watford until they retire and then to join the coaching staff as it seems a good way to work their way up to a Manager's position!
Steady on - talk about planning ahead - Sean has only had the job for 24 hours and you are already planning his replacement. Anyway Tiny is too tall for most dugouts and John Eustace would have to watch most games from the stand.
Player-Assistant Manager just would not work. The AM is a important position in a modern club, they spend at lot of time on the road looking at players and other clubs and taking on some of the managers workload - how can they train? What we need is an experienced AM that will give Sean strong support and guidance...Nigel Gibbs would be ideal, but cannot see it happening.
