After what has been a controversial, exciting but ultimately disappointing league campaign, we still have the Scottish Cup to look forward to. They say that the first trophy is the most difficult one to win and this is an ideal opportunity for Neil Lennon to bag his first piece of silverware. His team has had plenty of praise for it's passing style, attacking and even defending (with the odd exception of course!) Motherwell will prove to be a tough test. Managed by an ex-hun, we all know how much harder they get their teams to try when they're up against Celtic. There can be no repeat of the performance we had against them earlier in the season at Fir Park. Hopefully, our national stadium will have a decent pitch and our passing and better quality players will see us through. I'm not going to make any predictions over scores but I'm hoping for an entertaining final and a Celtic victory!
Funnily enough, that was my prediction on 606 when I was pretending to be a Motherwell supporter! Hope I haven't jinxed it
Good to see Rangers let Motherwell use the facilities at Murray Park this week. Hear also that Terry Butcher has visited the complex to give some words of encouragement to his old club. And Ian St John will be up to tell 'Well to get tore into the primadona Celtic players.
