    Restoring old clocks, old cars, old anything can be very satisfying and therapeutic. So, I will kick off with this one. I wish I had these kinds of hobbyist skills.

    Old mechanical clocks...yes, yes, yes. The works, the cases, the dials. But it requires real talent to repair them and that is where I fall down miserably. All aspiration and nothing achievable.

    Got a mate who's involved with restoring an old Hull & Barnsley Railway carriage at Hull College, a great project.

    I had the idea that I would love restore old electric guitars. There are loads of excellent tuition videos on YouTube. In the end I gave the idea up, due how expensive some of the tools would be and the lack of working space.

    I'll return to that another day hopefully.

    Escort van with an st170 engine and r1 carbs to finish. It won’t get done so it’s for sale if anyone fancies a project.
    It’s got the st rear axle so it’ll have brake discs all round
