    Robbie Savage has sure shut up about it, it was every 3rd sentance that came out of his mouth when talking about us back at the beginning of the season.

    My brother said this today actually. I'm not sure who he supports though, Leeds or Liverpool... whoever is doing well at the minute I guess. he's a confused kid.

    It was class when he was a pundit on MotD2 and we'd just given out a right beating (can't remember the exact score <whistle>) to some shoddy team that thought they were the dogs knees or something, he sure munched a large slice of modest pastie that night.

    I once said to a Sunderland fan in the season we played Bolton on the 1st day and Martins got that over head kick that we would NEVER be relegated, unless, we did something like a Leeds!

    I think my argument is still strong considering this IS pretty much the same side that was relegated in 08/09. Just like a Leeds really in the sense of the off-field distractions. I normally hate the phrase "too good to go down" but I think this just proves that we were, same as West Ham when they got relegated with Defoe, Kanoute, Cole and Carrick.
