Just watched a brilliant programme Punk Britannia at the BBC. Perfornances by the best band ever The Jam, Undertones, Ruts, Members, Stiff Little Fingers and especially for The Second Stain XTC with "making plans for Nigel"

Best of all though was a TOTP appearance from the Skids with "the Saints are coming" a song according to the programme adopted by fans of a certain premier league football club!

    Definitely worth a watch!

It's a repeat, because I'm pretty sure I've seen it before. Good, fun programme though, with my favourite band of all time playing their classic Making Plans For Nigel. That wouldn't be a bad song to run out to, either. Swindon might be a bit peeved by it though. ;)

I have " The Saints Are Coming " as my ring tone on my phone from family and friends that live in Southampton.
I have the Good the Bad and the Ugly theme for friends who support other teams.

Heard More Than A Feeling, by Boston, this morning. Now that would be a heck of a song for a Saints crowd to try to sing. Of course, some adjustment to the lyrics would be in order. ;)
