Ordinarily and looking at current form you would think that this would be a shoe in for the leather aprons but I've seen this happen before with The Rovers, go away to a team who are on fire whilst their own form hasn't been great and pull off an unlikely result. Wishfull thinking I know but I am going to go for a hard fought draw.
It's difficult to see any other result, at the moment, than a Walsall win. If it were home then we stand a chance. The only thing that would make me think otherwise is if we managed to get a GK in prior to Friday.

Simple. Easy 3 points for Walsall and scoring 4 in the process. We may get lucky and score 1 maybe even 2 with a penalty after Bodin gets taken out. ps, I reserve the right to change my mind if a keeper is signed by Thursday.

I was looking at the overall head to head and in 92 times we've played each other their has been 287 goals in 92 games. Whether that's accurate I'm not 100% sure just going by http://www.bristolrovers-mad.co.uk/head-to-head/next/vs/match/. Their was some entertaining games there.
Last time I saw Rovers at Walsall was one of the last games played at Fellows Park, David "Chase Me" Kelly was their main man in those days and I think we got a hiding that afternoon if my rapidly deteriorating memory serves me right.
My last game at Walsall we got a hammering too. I actually left at half time. We were truely awful and was losing 3 or 4 nil at half time. I think they were bottom of the table too. It ended something like 6-0 I think. Previous to that I seen us hammer them away 5-0. Lambert was made captain that day and we were 3-0 up after around 10 minutes were played.
