We are going down without a fight. I would prefer to go down with last season's team who at least would give it their all. How can we have pride in this bunch of overpaid heartless spineless wasters? What a difference a season makes. We overperformed last season because we had a solid group of players with commitment. We are so underperforming this season. It is becoming hard to support this shower.

What do you seriously expect when you employ mercenaries, we warned you QPR fans that these journeymen players were useless, but you insisted that they were excellent!

The sad thing is you have nothing better to do than gloat at true fans that are hurting.

Looking at the team today only 3 of the starting 11 will be around next year if we get relegated. We dont have any real affiliation with the players. They've all recently joined and will probably leave for another club at the end of the year.

That's the biggest problem I had with Hughes's appointment. If we go down he'll piss off and have another job at Christmas. The club doesnt mean enough to a lot of the staff and players.

Last year we were individuals playing as a team.

This year we're nidividuals playing for a club.

They just don't care. I put in a greater effort in a five a side and it hurts when my team loses. We have no competitive edge, no leaders.

It's difficult to judge our resilience when we keep getting players sent off in the first half. The Prem punishes that kind of ill discipline.

If we can keep 11 men, we can make a fight of it when Cisse comes back. The jury's out whether MH is encouraging team spirit or dividing through fear of the sackings the summer will bring.

For what it's worth, I think the Mittals will stay around, and I think they'll give Hughes a chance to build a team over the summer rather than patching up what he inherited.

There is no doubt that our future hangs in the balance by a very fine thread indeed. However, it is not over yet. The disappointments are protean and well listed in many threads. Back in January (I think), I suggested that come the end of today, if we found ourselves in the drop zone, then we were more than likely to be relegated. We are not in the drop zone, bar a major coup for Blackburn.

    It is not over yet!!
