Morning mancs. As a magnanimous gesture, I've decided to come on here to offer myself for matyrdom in the cause of Liverpool Football Club. This will save you the bother of having to come on our board to post your derision. I'm prepared to suffer anything you wish to throw at me, so start preparing your stones and whips. Let me give you some material to make your attack truly vitriolic. We really do have a collection of truly world-class players at our club. It's just been very bad luck that has robbed us of the PL title this season. You have prospered by stealing every ounce of luck that we should have had, whilst capitalising on your own. We were masterful last night, and were robbed by fate. Next season will be our season. Fill your boots boys. This is my version of self-harm
Kenny Dalglish, Charlie Adam, Stuart Downing and Andy Carroll are the reason you can't compete. And as good as Suarez is someone needs to teach him how to finish.
Can't be arsed. Honestly, it's just no fun when your club, manager and players make it so easy. It's the equivalent of fighting someone who's just shot themselves in the foot with a Magnum Special. Much like you did last night...
Well ok then. In honour of your ability to spectacularly surrender a commanding lead and concede three goals in the second half I have coined a new term for your performance. I call it the "Reverse Istanbul"
The reverse istanbul Can you see Kenny being in charge next season? There is nothing worse for a club than a manager merry go round.
This summer could be a huge test of FSG's credentials as Liverpool owners. They've missed their minimum expectations for the season, but if they ditch the manager then whoever they bring in will probably want to replace Downing, Adam, Carroll and probably a fair few more players as well. That means a lot of money and writing off a fair chunk of the value of those three. The easy, and cheap, choice is to stick with Dalglish and hope he can do better in the league next season. Will they go for the tough option or take the easy way out?
You're guess is as good as mine. Adam, world class as he undoubtedly is will have to go, but we didn't pay a huge amount for him, so won't take much of a hit, if any. I think they'll persevere with our massively talented centre forward. Can't decide about one of the best left wings in the world. Possibly another season. All will be revealed........................
What are you on about? if you listen to the muppet he thinks he has had a successful season: won the fantastic Carling Cup, and more importantly lots of deals and sponsorships. Being among the top 4 or 6 is no longer an objective of the scousers....
