In order that every thread on this forum isn't turned into incessant drivel, can anyone who wants to slag off Sir Michael Laudrup or call for his sacking please post here? Hopefully the rest of the forum can then return to some sort of "normality" If that doesn't work, can the mods, do some modding and either merge threads where they descend into the same old rubbish, or delete comments which are made repetitively on numerous threads?
the 'normality' you speak of is when people are bitching, wumming, moaning, slagging and being arrogant. When people are being polite and friendly is totally abnormal for this forum. I am seriously shocked when I see a thread that contains no agression.
We should sack him as we didn't win the FA Cup, and qualify for the Champions League. Poor season in my book.
PGF if anyone had the decency to post it here - they'd have the decency not to post it at all! The only real solution isself discipline and if that doesn't work - and there are only a couple who don't seem to have it - then enforced discipline via the mods. The problem is that, especially with one member, is that I don't believe he is wumming - he actually has an inflated ego and believes everything he posts and so thinks it's everyone else who's wrong. Well, there is the 'all seeing Dai'. Seems he is bored of Jenkins and has switched to Laudrup as his number one hate figure!
Is one poster's opinion worth an entire thread? As far as I can tell (and I haven't been here for days) Dai has only said he 'thinks the Board will sack the Manager if he doesn't change his philosophy' - or words to that effect. Apologies if I've got that wrong. I tend to think that's rubbish but he's entitled to his opinion and he's been right before, I hate to say. His comments are valid in that 2 points from 18 is one of the poorest runs in the League, though I'd point out we have played some top teams and we have another one tomorrow. But please stop bullying and tolerate another poster's views - even if he doesn't much tolerate anyone else's.
KJ his words were that Laudrup should be sacked if we fail to win a game for the rest of the season! Personally I don't see it as a sacking offence though I like many others would be a bit concerned if we ended the year that way!
i believe his point is valid that 2 points out of 18 is piss poor however the rest of his comments ie always bringing rodgers, liverpool etc into every thread is tiresome
Ah...get it. Well he's wrong of course, but that would be a disastrous end to the Season for us, even though sacking is ridiculous. Still don't think people should rise to the bait though. I think Dai gets a kick out of it - and he IS entitled to an opinion even if he's a bit mad (sorry Dai).
Out comes the usual bullying crap. I knew you would come out with it. Is one persons view worth a thread? Yes, if one persons view is messing up the whole forum. Merging threads that degrnerate is a solution. Apart from using the ignore button, which doesn't really work, have you got any others?
Knackered, it is honestly getting incredibly boring and repetitive. We've heard his point of view over and over and over. We get it. Let's just have a debate with some different points made rather than the same Rodgers love-in. When a simple forum can be so often derailed by the same carbon copy points it becomes something of a chore.
PGF - Well at least I'm predictable in standing up for people's right to say what they like, so thanks. But it's also nice to get the usual sort of welcome. Saying contributors are putting up the "usual crap" is just the sort of reason we keep losing posters. On a forum you get all sorts of people. Not everyone agrees (thankfully) and then you get the ones who love getting a rise out of people. Dai is one of those. I won't defend much of what he says but he has a right to say it, and if it pisses you off who gives a ****? He puts up with a lot more vitriol and insults than he dishes out. But if you can't deal with the fact that other people have opinions different to your own and that quite often these sorts of places throw up the craziest personalities then you really shouldn't be on any sort of forum. Oh, and the Ignore Button works. Also, if you see his name on a post because of a cut and paste just don't read it. Should keep your blood pressure down.
Knackard....Take no notice of pgf as he spoils threads he dont like by starting a thread on the same subject... He is under some impression that i want Laudrup sacked and cant understand that is not the case as i have said many times I want laudrup to succeed......He is the type you hate on a forum because if he dont agree with anyone then he cant accept that and thinks that its only me that is Very concerned with what is happening in the club....He could not be further from reality as if he was to look at other threads on other forums and clean his ears out he may learn something......I said ...and let this sink in pgf before you make yourself look a fool yet again.....I said he should go if he loses the remaining games as that would show he has demolished a side that was going forward...2 points out of 27 if we cant win is not a Blip its an indication we are going backwards and if you think that is fine then you will be looking at the beginning of the slide down the leagues and believe me i have seen Better sides than us slide down the league as its hard to stop once the momentum starts. so try and understand whats at stake here and not assume its laudrup bashing as i could not care who is our boss as long as he can compete with other managers instead of making statements like "we have over achieved" and i cant believe we are still 9th"......pgf stop trying to impress and learn to accept that we all have our views.....
I did not say that people should't have different opinions. The whole point is that they are repeated over and over and over and over again. But as you said, you havent followed the board over the last couple of days so you are not in a position to comment
