I’m a lot more comfortable with RM being in charge since he showed that he could change the lineup. Going to 3 CBs made us harder to score against and I would expect us to use that formation quite a bit in the Premier League. I also think the defence was more confident with Macca in goal and they didn’t have to fanny around as much with the ball in the area.
Assume it’s for a payrise/maybe better compensation package if he gets poached. Clearly deserves the chance in the PL as he did what he was brought into do. Time will tell how he adapts to the strength of the division
