Just looking at the run-in until the end of the season. On paper it looks particularly kind with only the spurs game looking like a definite zero pointer 5 of our home games on paper look good (although against a few teams scrapping for points) and 2 or 3 of the away games look promising for a few more points so my totally unscientific prediction with blueish tinted glasses on is is to pick up 16 more points giving us a grand total of 51 points (enough for 7th?) and then there will be the FA cup win
Only Arsenal and Spurs left in the top 6, certainly won't be dragged into a relegation scrap or breaking the top 6, so would like to see us maintain a 7th-10th finish
Just need to finish above Everton and then get those perspex dividers in. Then everyone will be happy.
Whether we finish above or below Everton it will be no loss if I don't have to read his arrogant and dismissive offerings ever again.
They are worth a few quid. Plus imagine the dross we would sign this summer if we finish below Leicester FFS
You signed a few this season, Dyche ready to give you back about a quarter of what you paid for Keane and Klaassen going great guns as well
Sigurdson for me is a wierd one. You really wanted him, paid a huge fee, but play him out wide from what I’ve seen? Surely therefore an actual winger would have been better? Or play him in the number 10 role and you’ve got one of the best in the league? Purely basing your performances from what I’ve seen on match of the day though really
I think it comes down to the Everton recruitment policy ... one of the key stipulations appears to be that you must be largely immobile ... either by age or nature ...
He is finally settling, as with Spurs he wasn’t used in his correct role. Looks like we have a way of get I would have like to think you took that as non serious.
... Spurs a definite zero pointer? ... apart from the drubbing when we had no defenders available at ours, we've generally got the better of them in recent seasons ...
Of course I did ... in fairness I couldn't believe all the hype about you going to be serious Top 4 challengers at the start of the season ... you sold a 25 goals a season striker and replaced him with numerous, rather one paced, central midfielders ... how that was going to turn you into serious top 4 contenders was a mystery .. but the Press thought so ...
That was Koeman. It’s not that way now. In fact Koeman/walsh(sam) have signed Lookman. Vlasic. Walcott. Hope the new man in the summer gets them going
7th will get a UEFA cup spot if an English Club win the Champions League and UEFA cup - is a decent chance of both happening.
I don’t think sam was ever under the impression he would get more than 6 months. The contract was given to secure PL status, his attitude and demeanour scream sacking. Hope it’s not Silva.
