OK its still early , but having enjoyed 2011 i took a look today at our remaining fixtures and bar the very odd game (Watford) i see it as a very tough run-in for the Tigers. I know its proof at how tough a league it is , but there are 15-16 good teams in this division and Donny , Cov and Ipswich can also be very tricky makes for a testing run to the play-offs.
This one reason I like the championship, any one who goes up always deserve it, its a tough league to get out, and a team has to show character all the ways through the season.
I wouldn't look at the run in until mid March, I think our toughest run of games comes in mid February - mid March with trips to Birmingham, Cardiff and Blackpool and home games against Leeds and Southampton. Get through that run of games and we're still in the top 6 then we have a good chance of finishing in the top 6.
If we drop out the top 6 we may as well be relegated, that's what it will feel like to me, I've got used to our recent positioning int' league table.
Brighton @ Home the week before as well IF City reach the 5th Round of the FA Cup. Plus C.Palace away is the date for the 6th rd-QTR finals. One game at a time folks and they are ALL tough games. No easy ones in the Championship anymore.
i never looked at the run-in with any particular interest until i saw this thread. for those who like to travel, we have got some s h i t t y away trips coming up!
