Everywhere I look where a team is in contention for promotion or whatever there is a thread or several that is talking about how many points the club will get and who will lose to who opposition wise. It's the biggest waste of time trying to guess what hasn't happened yet but I thought we should at least have one for anyone who felt it necessary to post on it. So here it is. From a personal point of view, I have said for a long time now that you cannot just look at a match and say that's nil points or 3 points or anything else. Our prediction league must surely prove that and only looking at yesterday's games also. I doubt many would have bet on us taking 3 points. I doubt anyone would have expected Oxford to lose or Accrington to draw and drop points. Yet there are fans across the country stating that clubs will lose this match or win that match with 100% certainty. I almost feel sorry for the bookies as it's that cut and dried. I think all you can do is suck back, hold it in and pray each time your team is on the pitch. At the end of all of that angst and joy 2 other clubs as well as Northampton will be cheering. Feck knows who they will be and just hope it's ours.
Still think three more wins will be enough to finish 3rd. Don't care which ones they are but would rather it didn't go to the last game of the season!
