Made comments at start of season that 12 games could be a better yardstick to guage "progress" Well we now get to final 12 games .......
tomorrow "our gifted into top 6 position" comes under fire..... [ having played 1 more than those around us ]
3 teams can solidate around us

BLACKBURN who are away to Swansea
W B A who are home to Oxford
COVENTRY who are home to P N E

Watford home to Luton Norwich home to Stoke Q P R away to Portsmouth ... can close to within 2 points

    COVENTRY been on a run more recently d D L W W W W L W W.. GD is + 3
    BLACKBURN like winning .. all or nothing D L W L L L W L W W .. GD is + 8
    W B A Least consistent, have drawn 15 D W D D L W L W L D GD .. + 11

    Watford .. L L D W L L L D L W .. Norwich D W W L L W W D L D .. Q P R D W W W W L L W L W

OF COURSE CITY OVER LAST 10 GAMES .................. D W L D W D L W D W IN RED CONCEEDED IN LAST 3 MINS so pretty average! but losing 2 of the next 12 would be amazingly close to top 6

    well next 2 games see
    BBurn v Norwich
    Millwall v CITY
    Watford v Millwall

    4 games down the road
    CITY v Norwich
    Norwich v Sheff W

SO City have 3 monster games above plus SHEFF UTD away previous loss was the game ago [ W L W W W W ? ] .... and 1 game @ home versus a nemesis v Hull 9 points wold show we mean business 7 points keep us in touch 6 or less very dependant on other teams failing!

If Bristol City had earned about 30% of the points that they gave away in the last 15 minutes we wouldn't have to travel the calculation road because we would probably have sewn up a playoff spot already, or close at least. I know you could possibly say that about other teams but I don't think there are any Championship teams that are anywhere close to City's record in the collapse department. The biggest issue on that particular front is that we have been doing it since Noah was a lad and it doesn't appear that we have anyone on board who can fix the leak. Management decisions on many matters are also a huge problem and unless the top brass start getting it right our future looks bleak or at least the same old same old boring apathetic football. <steam>

Well there are currently 8 teams within 6 points [ or less ] of top 6 and 4 more within 8 -11 points of .. Middsbro a game in hand! so dont think City are at all alone in the "dropped points cage" .... we still have to play the top 4 so 4 points plus from 12 would help the cause!

I reckon the last 2 playoff places will be taken by WBA and Norwich with Coventry as my outside bet

I didn’t even see those scores
Good of the BBC to put EFL results below women’s international games
    They are an absolute disgrace

next 2 games for a shake up ..........

    Sheff u v Coventry .......... Coventry v Burnley

    Burnley v
City.............. and ............ CITY v WATFORD
    Norwich v W B A ...... and ........... W B A v SUNDERLAND

    Middsbro
v Oxford win next ... CITY lose change places if City draw stay above Middsbro

Portsmouth v Blackburn ..... Blackburn v Middsbro ............both these teams need at least
    Watford
    v Plymouth ............... CITY v WATFORD ....................... 2 wins with CITY & W B A losing

    Cardiff v Sheff W ........... Sheff W v Hull
    Millwall v Stoke ..
    .............. Millwall v Portsmouth

TARGET HAS TO BE 6TH PLACE ............ BASED ON 2 WINS versus 2 LOSSES 6 points difference. Currently 6th is 57 points so ....
    W B A and CITY need to lose 2 games .......... SHEFF W and MILLWALL need to win 2 games = = = = equal on points

teams below MILLWALL NOW NEED MIRACLES ... LIKE 7 / 8 STRAIGHT WINS

now at THE HALF POINT of this thread

    City = W A ... D H ... D A ... W H ... L A ... WH === 11 POINTS FROM 18 pts ... 1.84 average [ equivalent to 84 points on season average ]

the 7 teams in contention then were ...
    W B A ............ 51 ... ... D W D D L L ............. 6pts
    BBurn ............ 51 ... ... D L L L L L .............. 1 pt
    Coventry ....... 50 .. ... W W L W L L ............ 9 pts
    City ................ 49 ... ... W D D W L W ........... 11 pts
    Watford ......... 48 ... ... D L W L D L ........... 5 pts
    Middsbro ....... 47 ... ... W L W D W W ......... 13 pts
    Norwich ........ 47 ... ... D D L L W L ............ 5 pts
    Millwall on 54 have gained 9 pts after losing to City L W L W L W above Norwich Watford & BBurn.....

ANOTHER 11 POINTS might just do it!. COME ON YOU REDzzzzzzzzzzzz
