Seen that before, it's a good video. I would watch that and try to implement what he's saying really.
Playing fourth team tomorrow, first time I've been available all season. Looking forward to that. Then got a right pickle on over the weekend, got a mates wedding Saturday which will be an all dayer and so will prevent me getting up and playing first thing. So, I want to play later but given it's fathers day I probably should be 'spoilt' by my kids (this will amount to nowt most probably anyway as she just dedicates the whole thing to HER Dad). I think the weather might help me out, it's meant to be pissing down all day anyway so I won't bother if it's that bad.
I have no one to play with this weekend. My one mate has his dad here all weekend from LA. one mate is still injured and another on holiday. Want to play Saturday as looks the best day weather wise. Going for a lesson tomoro. It's a short game lesson then a playing lesson next week.
I'll usually play in the rain but the forecast is heavy rain and high wind so if it is like that I won't bother. I'll be hungover though so that will probably make me curl up and stay in bed. Not much stops me playing.
not a fan of playing in the rain.. dont have an adequate umbrella.. its got the company i used to work for logo which is now a competitor.. so i am having 25 umbrellas made with my logo on now.. and plan on buying an umbrella holder to attach to my trolley..
Good waterproofs are more important than the brolly. I only really use the brolly to cover my bag and clubs, not me. While using said holder of course!
theyre on offer in sports direct at the moment £2.99 My water proofs are fine its just in this weather when its raining and warm I get a bit sticky
Team match cancelled tonight, seems our opponents were put off by the weather forecast. So, the team captain, who I partner in the team, and m have decided instead to play our singles match as we have been drawn against each other in this summers singles knock out. Trouble is, the weather forecast is still the same. Looks like I will be playing in torrential rain this evening, oh joy of joys.
Thats the course being suggested for this golf weekend now as a few want a posh hotel with spa and pool etc.
Well I would say that St Pierre (Marriot Hotel) and Celtic Manor are far better bets. If Spa is your priority then fair enough but if decent courses are the priority which happen to have a good hotel with Spa then the two I mention above are way, way better than Bryn Meadows.
Well, interesting evenings golf that was. Playing against a mate, not sure if that helps or hinders really, and played between average and **** for the best part of it. Three down with six to play, got handed the next two on a plate and then suddenly it clicked and I played the final four superbly, drawing level on 16 then winning on 18. Love it when that happens, cometh the hour and all that. Won't play now till we do Wednesday. By the way, was told Bryn Meadows is a bit ****. Also it's not really very close to decent night out.
Well done Justin rose. Was watching last night fell asleep with the tv on then woke up just before he did his speech .
Rose's transatlantic accent grates on me. I know his agent. His 20% will be worth a few quid this week.
