Roman Abramovich visited the dressing rooms before the Hull match and wished all the team, including the non playing squad members, good luck for the season. He did the same with the medical staff, and all the backroom people who work so hard for the team. First time he has ever done this, and showed the players his personal support. Having been a scathing critic of his interfering ways in the past, it certainly looks like there has been a serious change in direction from him with the reappointment of Jose, and the confirmation of youth development and emphasis on youth as the way forward. With an excellent blend of youth and experience ,we look set for an exciting future. So loads of credit to Roman Abramovich, especially on his 10 years as owner. We owe him big time,he owes it to himself to relax and enjoy watching his team, and ours, develop and stabilise over the coming years. Hope the fans give him a reception for his 10 years, as they rose to Jose against Hull.
Not many owners are so dedicated and passionate about their clubs. We are so lucky to have such a great man at our helm.
He certainly showed a new side of himself on Sunday! We owe the man bigtime and its nice that he's getting closer to all those that matter to the club! Who knows--he might even give all us fans a big wave one day!
