Shame on you Saints Alive !!

Were you born in Plymouth by any chance ?

Thought at the very least you would be fully behind your South Coast "friends"........

"Being a Devonian by birth". I always had him down as a plastic and now he confirms it.

I do not want a day out at Wembley. Seriously I don't. You are welcome to the final Wooperts. I hate the play offs. You have 46 games to decide who goes up or down why do you need an extra 3 matches at the end. Money for the FA perhaps.

He didn't say which part of Devon he was born in. Plymouth is virtually in Cornshire so he might be a closet Torquay or Exeter fan.

    Or even Baaaaaarnstaple.

Yeah, I was born in Teignmouth but moved to sunny Southampton when I was seven and fell in love with the Saints at my first match at the Dell when I was ten.
Still follow the Devon clubs fortunes and if it's a choice between them and the blue mob in Hampshire then there is only one winner!...<cheers>

I am being serious honestly I am. I do not want to spend £150 for me and No.1 son (I have to pay or he won't go and it's been the same since he was 6) to go and watch what is essentially a big let down. It's not about the cash it truely is about me not agreeing with the play offs at all. If you come 4th then you should go up. End of.

I've already said you are welcome to Wembley Wooperts and that's exactly what I mean. The football gods will get Argyle there just to feck me over though so you should already know you have no chance,

Strange thing to say Greeny. League 2 is **** and completely unpredictable, it's best to just try and get out of it any way you can.

I know this league is the crap end of the football pile but I still don't like or agree with play offs. It's not strange just perhaps a bit of an old fashioned view.

She already has Wooperts I saw her on Britains Got Talent last week.

Me thinks our green friend doth protest too much. And in any case, bearing in mind how much time he spends around here, I think he should change his handle to "sensible turquoise"<laugh>

    Looking at the other fixture:

    The League results were
    Wimbledon 0-0 Rovers
    Rovers 3-1 Wimbledon

So if all four scores were to be repeated we would have Pompey & Argyle going to extra time and possibly (please not!) penalties to meet Bristol Rovers at Wembley.

I wonder what the limit will be on each team's seating allocation for the final. Probably a ridiculously low figure

I might change it to Scarlet Pimpernel. They seek him here they seek him there sort of thing. Or maybe not. My dislike of the play offs is genuine Channonfodder.

Discounting Wimbledon, and that's not disrespecting them or dismissing them, any two of the three left would result in a probable 70000 crowd at Wembley. Knowing the way the stupid FA and Police work they would stick a limit of 50000 on it.

I cracked....yep I know what I said but I couldn't not buy them. Went up today and handed over my cash. Hell of a queue. There were 5 in the queue and one security crowd control bloke. I was tempted to push in and see if he was awake but couldn't bring myself to do it. 2 windows open but then again it didn't need any more. This was lunchtime. I could be there on my own almost. If we did get to Wembley we might fill a mini van if that queue was anything to go by.

My manager says he doesn't care which way around the matches come. He's resting the star of the club for this Saturday so Ethel won't be making the tea it will be Mabel instead.
