Strong rumours suggest we are about to see the return of Nelson Olivera to the club. Having had a reasonable season at Forest last year it appears that his return is imminent. Interesting!!
I'll probably take a hit on this but I like this transfer . Had a very nice touch and never thought we seen enough of him in 10 Appearences . Good back up and late sub And only 24 years old .
He was rubbish when he was here on loan and didn't take up the option to sign him then, why would anyone think he is worth signing now after an average season in the Championship. I really hope this is a piss take. Not good enough.
Nah in all fairness I don't think he was that bad when here. Had a few late sub appearances and scored when he started (I think). Could be an alright sub but its wages that concerns me. Why fork out for a player we know isn't going to be a consistent scorer.
I expected this from you lefty , after drawing conclusions on very few minutes by Eder and Paloschi , you would know all about him in 360 minutes .
I can only judge on what I have seen not stats and neither are that good, have a look on the rebuild thread I am not alone.
Sorry lefty , I'm a majority of one and although I NEED imput from on the ground fans , I believe what I believe regardless of others... I seen this as a sound signing . Is it a fix for our striker problems , not by a long shot ..but it's a baby step IMO
Not live , I've never seen a live game . But on the screen , I have and see him in the same way as Paloschi , hard working striker with a very good touch . Now I'm not saying that will be who he turns out to be in the long run but given our position , his age and probable price ,.. I'm in ... I liked him when he was a basic unused player on loan with only 360 minutes and am anxious to see him as an alternative striker and a sub .
Paloschi is far better than Alovera, that's for sure, we are going backwards some knots, Huw your a disgrace.............
I have to agree with Phil here, I wasn't a lover of Paloschi, but he is much much better than Oliviera and would be a massive step backwards. I just cant see why we would try and sign someone who we had the option to buy after a years loan and we didn't because he wasn't good enough to be behind Gomis or Eder as it stood then, yet we now could be signing him as our no.1 no way.
I never said Olivera was better than Paloschi , only a similar style . Paloschi , if he stayed , would have been a regular starter , Olivera would be an occasional starter and sub .
Olivera is a 50% player. Basically, a half nelson.... I thought he was ok when he was here. Didn't play much.
