The return of Frank Fielding - cock up or the fans being kept in the dark....?

So Cloughie confirmed today that because Frank Fielding has already played two months worth of games for us this season the terms of a 93 day emergency loan mean that he can only play three more games for us.

In the interview with Radio Derby Clough confirms that the club understood this and signed him anyway with a view to a permanent signing in the summer.

Clough also mentions, casual as you like, that this means Matt Duke, new to this parish will finish off the season in goal for us.

So for me this means one of two things;

Having decided to bin Bywater the club understood that Frankie could only play three more games for us and signed Matt Duke without bothering to explain to the fans what was cracking off.

The club did not understand the limit on Frankie's further appearances for us and has cocked it up.

Not much of a choice either way is it ?
