    What we don't want to happen is another Partisan Belgrade. Do the hard work away, and then surrender a strong position and go out before the first round proper. The players have done their bit last season by flogging their knackers off to get us into Europe, the club has done the right thing by selling the tickets for £15. Everything is in place for an assault on Europe.

    Get yourselves there and support The Toon. It's our duty! <ok>

    I think they had the proverbial 12th man; with their crappy pitch and the heat.

    At our own place, we'll be more accustomed to the surroundings (and have the backing of our own 12th man), and should be able to get the win (should, but im not taking owt for granted). The same team should be able to get the job done, however, with a slightly kinder fixture following (on sun rather than sat) and with the lack of travel, i dont want us to take any chances and i'd like to see a couple more of our 'big hitters' out on the pitch

    If we approach the game right and put a decent team out I've no doubt that we'll win. That plus our 12th man making that little bit more noise and getting behind the team will see us through.

    For me to be there, I would have to take a flight, fly half the world there, and then get into the stadium...Therefore I'll be supporting the team from my couch...

    Even though Pardew ha said the focus is on the league, I think he'll use common sense and put out a strong side for this one, did well away under difficult circumstances need to seal the deal at home.

    <applause> The stadium should be filled, people need to get with this European journey. We missed it so much the last 5 years and the fact all of level 7 is closed upsets me to be honest.
    I think the same team, maybe even without Cisse, will do the job at home.
