Was thinking last night of some of the class TV programmes that we're around when you were a kid?

Some of my childhood memories of a Saturday TV were:

Metal Mickey
Buck Rogers
The Monkees
Flash Gordon (the old black & white series)
The Lone Ranger
Zorro
Noel Edmonds Swap Shop
TISWAS
It's a Knockout

 

And in the evenings, I was allowed to stay up and watch:
The Two Ronnies
not the Nine O'Clock News
Minder
The Sweeney (if my mam was out)

And when my parents were out, it used to be 'Hammer House of Horror' with the lights out.

TV hadn't been invented when I was a little boy, Saturday was the day I had to run all the errands.

 

Used to also like all the cartoons, including Looney Toons, Whacky Races, Scooby-Doo, Captain Caveman + Dangermouse
Oh and I forgot - the Banana Splits!

Ahhhhh, Monkey! Great shout! I used to rush home from school to see it and use to hope it didn't clash with the school footy matches.
