It will be confirmed tomorrow who will be staying at AG and who will be leaving! It will be known tonight who has gone but the club won't announce it until tomorrow. I'll see if I can get some information before tomorrow! Brundle is the only player I know that will NOT be here next season.
If Louis Carey is let go at the end of the season I wonder what his next move would be? A part of me was hoping to see him move into coaching or management, and to at least sign a coaching contract with us. For me, the list of players that might move on makes me believe that, for the first time in a while, our manager might be given some money to spend.
Louis Carey, Marvin Elliott, Stephen Pearson, Liam Fontaine, Mitch Brundle and Kevin Krans leave BristolCity. Dave Richards agrees contract extension until 2015, while Elliott Parish has been made available for transfer New deals have been offered to youngsters @joe_bryan179, @Bobby293 and @wesley__burns Simon Moore, Nyron Nosworthy, Simon Gillett, Wade Elliott, Martin Paterson and Tyrone Barnett return to their parent clubs.
SC: "It's tough to be the one ending Louis' #BristolCity career. I'm so pleased he got the record; he deserves it for tremendous service."
SC: "I've known Marvin for some time and it was a shame the injuries cut short his season. He's a great guy."
SC: "We had to get fans to build a friendship with Liam (Fontaine) again. We did that but I think now is the right time for a fresh challenge."
SC: "Stephen has been a great professional who has experienced tough times here. He'll get a fresh start somewhere else."
SC: "The six loanees have gone back to their parent clubs to see where the land lies. Any news...we'll speak about in due course."
