While we come on here to catch up with news about the Swans, I've created this thread for chats throughout the season about the rest of the Championship. - https://www.efl.com/

Players to watch. Teams to watch. Big signings. Who is the top manager? Promotion rivals. Relegation rivals!

It all kicks off at 8pm on Friday night when Reading entertain Derby at the Madjeski Stadium.

    Reading?? We've come full circle!

Reading v Derby = Paul Clement v Frank Lampard.

    Two Ex-Jacks in action!

I think, Stoke WBA, Derby, Boro and Leeds to be pushing for promotion, I expect us, Birmingham, west London rangers Rotherham and Bolton to be battling it out to stay up,

I read somewhere that Lampard had forgotten all about his brief loan at Swansea. Not surprising really when you consider the rest of his illustrious career.
So, is he a worthy recipient of the sobriquet ?

I was at Chelsea 3 or 4 seasons ago and Lampard was warming up in front of the Swans fans when up came the chant "You Jack Bastard, you Jack Bastard...". Lampard laughed and gave the Swans fans a clap back. I think he remembered!

Another fond memory that Lampard will have of the Swans was that he broke Bobby Tamlins all time Chelsea scoring record when he converted a penalty against us at the Bridge!

Why would you cleanse a pallet between courses?

Now, I could understand someone cleansing their palate..... <cheers>

I played two rounds of golf yesterday in different locations. My clubs were transported on a flat wooden construction which needs to be kept clean with a Joe's chocolate north pole.

So I did cleanse my pallet between courses with a sort of ice cream. <nahnah>
