Don't think so. He did give us a lot of free kicks in excellent positions none of which we used to any advantage. Instead of complaining about referee think we should practice free kicks.
No, we're not Chelsea. Individually nothing he did was that terrible but every major decision went against us which is frustrating. The foul on Barton by Warnock was very naughty, the lino gave the pen so it's difficult to criticise the ref. Given it was such a soft pen it was a shame Traore got booked too as it indirectly caused the sending off. I didn't have a great view of either handball but they'd have both been harsh imo. Collins could well have gone for persistent fouling though. Paying through the nose to watch us is one thing but I don't think I could pay prem money to watch Villa every week. Incredibly negative.
The first handball shout was defintely a pen. if you're standing in the 6 yard box at a corner with your arms out and a goalbound header hits you that's your own fault and should definitely be a penalty. The second one would've been harsh but then again theirs wasnt exactly a stone waller...

The ref needs to go to specsavers and take his assistants with him, how they missed Huttons two handballs just adds to the frustration that we as fans have to put up with week in & week out. We were robbed by the the officials and a negative team.
