The Redskins show a bit of grit yesterday in what came out a bit of a blow for blow game. Both teams came up with some mighty plays, both good and some just ridiculous... Its too late to get all, well if only we had won this or that as the Skins are still 6-8 players away from getting to the play-offs, but never the less it was a great game to watch... The Pats dont have the best defense but im not as peeved with that result as i have been with some of the lameo games earlier in the year... Onwards and upwards on that ever small gradient...!!!
Was a good game to watch and you hung with them almost all game. Fair play to you. Don't think you have a bad team just think you need more consistent QB play and you would maybe e able to compete with the others in your division.
Thx Graham... To be honest they arnt that bad, but its like anything you just need a few special players that make the difference. And the most important is QB. The Redskins have traditionally always had good RB's but the modern game nowadays dictates that the QB has to mobile, be able to scramble, and have one strong arm. The era when i started watching the game the QB never came out of the pocket as he would be crushed. Now they set up with 3 linemen sometimes for protection and he still dosnt get hit... The passing game has to be stopped first and double coverage is mnore prevelant today than years back.. The TE is also a position that is very, very important as shown with the Pats this weekend... Rob Gronkowski - receptions 6, 160 yards 2 td's For the year... - 71 rec, 1,088 yards @ 15.3 yards gain and 15 td's... Thats a class TE... Oh, well i can only hope and dream... Come on the Skins...!!!
Well there are a few QB's in the draft I think you will probably end up going for Robert Griffin III he is like Cam Newton's double so you wouldn't go far wrong there. And yeh Gronkowski has been unbelievable. As a Bears fan we have got rid of our TE which i can't help feeling was a big mistake. The emergence of players like Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham prove it is becoming a more vital position.
