We need experience but i have found the youngsters performances were very encouraging.

Miyachi, Frimpong and Afobe all showed some very positive signs and deserve to be some part of this seasons plans.

    Miyachi
...might need to bulk up but he's got lightning pace and a decent footballing brain (unlike Theo at times) he knows where he wants to take the ball to get the cross in and how to beat his man

    Frimpong...
really impressed be yesterday in the Makelele/Diara mould, tenacious, decent on the ball, mobile, if he's understudy to Song I'd be happy with that. He'll need to keep learning but Boca were very physical and he handled it extremely well

    Afobe
...was a surprise choice to replace Wilshere and I thought he was more of an out and out striker, but he showed pace, some skills and decent runs into the box

Players like Vela, Chamkah, etc have been poor these past 5 games and I believe they should be pushed down the pecking order as such. How can Chamkah lay claim to want to be in our starting 11 with he he's delivered thus far?!?!?! Vela got a couple of goals but he still looks confused out there

I hope we give Lansbury his chance as well

Ryo needs a work permit - I hope he gets it. Both him and Walcott would give us great pace on the flanks.

Afobe did really well today, I was pleasantly suprised.

Frimpong is the player for the key position that we've been missing. If we can sure up DM, I think our defence will get a far less torrid time.

Didn't Norwich put a bid in for Lansbury? £1.5m apparently.....maybe it was just paper talk?

I've watched Miyachi playing a few games in Holland last season (gotta love sky sports) and i am very excited about him playing for Arsenal. Really hope he gets his work permit as he will be a real quality addition to the squad. He makes very direct runs, loves going round his man and his pace is phenominal. With him and Walcott playing together i can imagine some invincibles style fast pace counter attacking going on - should be interesting to see how Miyachi develops.

I think Rosicky did surprisingly good yesterday at Emirates Cup but haven't followed him closely in the other games.
