The Re- Branding of Bristol Rovers FC..2014...?

    I spotted this on OTIB and thought yes there is a ring of truth here, what names can you think of.....I love WTF - FC......

    ' The news of the proposed rebranding of Cardiff got me thinking of rebranding the Gas when they move to the wilds of South Gloucestershire. They obviously can’t be called “Bristol.........”

    My first thoughts were “South Glos Woebegone” or “Dregs FC” or “Blue Square Contemptibles”

    Any suggestions (that can be printed)?'



    Out of Bristol, new home, new identity, small club reaching out for new horizons....

    i never feel let down by this board. at least every day there is a thread or comment about us <ok> makes me feel all warm inside :)

    i would do a similar thread on the gas board about your re-branding when you move to somerset but <laugh> i cant see that move happening now ;)

    Were still in Bristol when we move CJS <ok>

    All though I can remember reading that Ashton wants to become its own city/town or what ever, They want to be separated from Bristol.
