Wycombe definitely have the toughest fixtures. Although all 4 of ours are away, that doesn't matter because our amazing record on the road.
Our defence is generally sound, if we don't let the opposition dictate then in Taylor and Gaffney we have strikers who can get the goals to win matches. Only Portsmouth were better than us at the Mem Northampton just kept launching the ball into orbit because they were bigger than us and we let them get away with it, Accrington just disrupt play by taking ages over goal kicks etc. so if we can get an early goal against them we should take the points and if we put the ball on the floor and move it quickly we can beat Northampton. we have beaten Wycombe twice this season I believe but Portsmouth will be a very hard game if they play well and they are the team who could beat us
Wycombe will have a big influence in the run in because they will probably nick a few points of some of the contenders. But they'll probably lose too many to make an automatic place. I think The Cobblers are looking the most likely champions, but it's going to be a fascinating few months.
You missed one Sapphire. Ports v Plymouth on 16 April. I never look that far ahead more out of jinxing anything. We all could lose the next 6 games, somebody else win all of their's and it all changes. I doubt it will happen like that but it could. Every game is hard whichever league you are in and everyone can and sometimes do beat anyone else. You win away at the top of the table one week and lose at home to the bottom club the next.
There's usually a late finisher with a strong run at the death. Who else do you think might be a late contender?
Leyton Orient have found some form under a new manager and will also test most of our rivals in the run in...
Difficult one Gastro. So many teams with games in hand, its hard to tell until we see the true picture when games in hand has taken place. But Notts County may make a strong finish. They are in 17th right now. They got 2 games in hand and win them, they would be 3 points outside the play offs. New manager as well who was recently with us.
