Who is going to win the race to finish 6th? Burnley have had a great season and only lie two points behind Arsenal. I've checked the remaining fixtures and by my reckoning in the crunch fixture, 2nd last game of the season, Arsenal play at home to Burnley and a draw for Burnley might be good enough.

    Here is my thoughts:

    Agree?

    Arsenal - 54pts

    West Ham (H) - 3pts
    Man Utd (A) - 0pts
    Burnley (H) - 1pt
    Leicester (A) - 1pt
    Huddersfield (A) - 3pts

    Finishing on 62pts

    Burnley - 52pts

    Chelsea (H) - 1pt
    Stoke (A) - 3pts
    Brighton (H) - 3pts
    Arsenal (A) - 1pt
    Bournemouth (H) - 3pts

    Finishing on 63pts

Burnley have no chance Vs Chelsea tomorrow, easy win for the blues. Nailed on 3 points for the Chavs.

  4. After reading your OP, Saffy, I have put the cock clinic on high alert, and I have pre-booked an ambulance.

I wonder if Burnley go for the kill at the Emirates and practically kill it all off there?

It could be ironic actually as Sean Dyche could be the man to put Wenger out of a job and then take his seat too!

I wonder if @PISKIE would be happy about Dyche as replacement for Wenger :bandit:

  13. There was a Gooner on the Alan Brazil Breakfast Show, this morning, who was making a serious case for Eddie Howe.

I understand the shouts for Dyche and Howe, but I think Arsenal would be better going back to their roots, like in the George Graham days and appointing Sam Allardyce. That football just seems to work for Arsenal.

    I think they will.

Plus the Chavs are in trouble tomorrow, they got done by Burnley at their place earlier this season.

Eddie Howe...he's orite, deserves a crack at a bigger team but...I don't rate him as highly as some folk do.

I rate Dyche higher than Howe....id want to play for Dyche, Howe would get on my nerves eventually, I can tell.

Impossible to know how either would do but both have done brilliant jobs.

Howe plays much better football though. Would have loved him here at some point but will never happen.
