    The Australian GP will be held as the first race from 2024 after the Victorian Government secured the Grand Prix until 2035.

    This is great news. Not the best track but best suited for an opener as it always gives a challenge to teams finding their way.

    Agree, not the greatest track for racing always but I do love Aus as a season opener as it’s exciting for a new season, new era, great fan base and of course literally the other side of the world.

    Maybe I’m odd but I also miss the traditional start times in the early hours UK time. That searing Aussie heat haze and the sound of V10 engines used to be a beautiful thing. Staying up late or getting up super early - it used to feel like a US PPV boxing event level of excitement staying up at those times haha.
