Dear all, I come with an idea. In recent years we have been pretty poor at creating good new songs for our team/players/manager. At times, I've had ideas for possible songs but it would be way too difficult to get them going at LR because I am a lone season ticket holder; I don't tend to go with friends or relatives. I wonder if we could use this thread to seriously create some new songs for QPR and then actually get them going at LR. Does anyone have experience in the best ways to get new songs going? By the way, it would be nice if you could include your season ticket seat or where you normally get tickets for in the stadium. That way there could be a chance of meeting up inside LR to sing them. So, I'm in R block, row M, seat 9. Here's my input for a song for Chery. Of course, ideas for songs could be more collaborative but I thought I'd get things rolling. Basically, it completely knicks the tune and words from our old Buzsacky song except goes like this instead: Saw a mate the other day. Said to me he's seen the Dutch Pele. Said to him, what's his name? Said to me his name's Tjorron Chery. etc!
Ah, good to know! I'll say hello next home league game. Things don't seem to be as colourful at LR as they have been in the past. And I get a bit tired of the negative songs like Chelsea hate ones when we should be singing our team on.
