Which season were you alluding to?
Woodards who was not playing yesterday has along with Muzzy been our stand out player this year so I think the RB position is sorted,if anything its the left side we are struggling at times to contain teams.
Lets sit back and see what Mcghee does during the break before we start predicting what will happen next season opther wise we could like our neighbours look like complete

I find it very strange that every club's supporters we have bantered with this season has come on to Shrewsbury's page and congratulated us. That is except Bristol Rovers...who were the big "I am" and are now suffering a severe bout of sour grapes.

also for the record i dont give a flying **** what you find strange. i personally not been on this site much in last 8 weeks. about 4/5 times in total. infact today is the most active i have been where im trying to get back to normality. reason is my brother died recently. lost him to cancer just aged 34. was told he would recover as they got it early enough then we ended up losing him pretty much straight away. it has been very hard. so i have far more important things going on in my life to think '**** i forgot to go on a football forum to congratulate a football team on winning promotion'.
if you can get your head out of your arse for long enough to comprehend that then thank you for understanding.
as for sour grapes, sorry not from me. with recent events in my life, football is too far down the list for me to be sour about anything.

I dont think you will find a single gashead who is "sour" about the Shrews promotion. We dont have a rivalry with the Shrews for a start. We have a little bit of good natured banter with most of your posters and in truth I like Shrewsbury FC. Apart from them having some ****e rovers players, I have no reason to dislike them in any way, so it goes without saying that I wish you well for next season, if only for some of the decent Shrews posters I have got to know over the last season

It goes without saying that I am extremely sorry for your loss.
But why take things so personally when I had no way of knowing your situation. Banter is banter. Life is much more important and should be viewed in a different context.

Sure, we've had some of the usual 'we're better than you' banter, although you are the only lot who've been on here daily wumming during our season of woe. I'm not quite sure why, as others have said, it's not as if you're one of our rivals.

Apart from the Word Association thread, I have not tresspassed on your board for months. I think you would find it quite reasonable for me to gloat over our promotion (which I never bigged up in advance), in view of all the pre-season and continued talk from you lot over how you would walk this league and Shrewsbury would bottle it. Sorry to disappoint you....er know i'm not.
