Davie Moyes isnt being paid enough to manage that bunch of players, the board need to give him a raise to really get the best of him so he can get this lot under control.

Van Persie is too old now, cant depend on him and barely trying half the time.

Januzaj is too skinny, easily brushed off the ball.

Rooney is too fat and playing too deep like a holding midfielder at times.

Evra is too old, cant pass the ball straight.

Smalling should be in League 1.

Vidic too slow now but decent defender still.

Mata is a Chelsea 5th string who could barely get on the bench for them, waste of money luxury we cant afford.

Carrick has no cutting edge, just nice passing to the eye.

Cleverley is the worst player I have ever seen in a united shirt.

Sack the board and the players and give Moyes 250m to spend in the summer, this season is a writeoff, goddammit.

Its too easy to blame Moyes, he is a good manager but the current players have let him down badly, they threw that game away today and that has absolutely nothing to do with moyes.

wake up people, the players are not good enough

The fact that our tactics consisted of nothing but half a million aimless crosses has nothing to do with the manager?

The same players that walked the league with ease under Sir Alex?

Never seen a team with such an obvious lack of any sort of game plan.

Sir Alex got lucky last year, I dont like to say it but its the truth, Man City and Chelsea are lightyears ahead of us with players in every single position. This squad needs a serious clearout and it was never going to happen in one season.

Moyes should not be judged on this bunch of players, he did not assemble them, he has been unlucky in that the players just now have lost games that there is no way they should have lost.

In my view you misunderstand the problem. This time last year pretty much the same bunch of players were playing better, (or rather digging out resuilts even with some bad performances I admit) but now, even though they have talen, they have no belief.

They have no belief in a man who came from nowhere and changed their training and coaching methods and clearly have no belief or confidence in the tactics they are being told to adhere to - but most importantly, given his lowly background, these guys have absolutely no faith in the prospect that Moyes will turn it around.

Put a decent manager of international stature back in their now and you would see immediate results. However you dress it up - Moyes IS the problem.

For all we know, Moyes could win the Champions League this season, we are into the quarter finals, thats a given, then its the luck of the draw.

Load of bull, you don't waltz the league by 17 points by luck. Luck is for cup football.

Happy to stick with Moyes for the season anyway but if we lose 3 or 4 in the first 10 games of next season I suspect he will be gone.

This^, no quick penetrating passing today at all, get it down the wings and cross it is all they were doing. So slow getting the ball forward every time. Moyes has to take the blame.

For £250 million wouldn't it just be cheaper to invest in cloning the '99 team? And add in Law, Charlton and Best (with a 2000% increase in his alcohol tolerance) just for good measure.

    Technology is the answer <ok>

    This.
But also Moyes has lost the players, which isnt entirely his fault.
They have performed like crap, but when they did that under SAF they got the hairdryer and and an ass kicking.
Under gollum they have no one to kick them into touch and reel in their egos.
I can see their being a revolt in the dressing room at the end of the season with Rooney, RVP etc threatening to leave if Moyes isn't replaced.
Maybe they could just give Rooney another half million a week to get him to stay
