Is it actually worth going to Belgium, France & Spain, just to make a few quid, with a certain chance that you might get pulled over & lose the lot? Times have changed, since the Euro came into effect, the price between ***s sold on the continent & ***s sold in the UK, is basically allmost the same. When Spain were with the old pesetas, we in the UK, were doing *** runs every 2-3 weeks, had a free holiday all the time, with what we sold on when we got back. Is it still worth it?
The only thing worth popping into the euro zone is petrol/diesel. I am from NI near the ROI border and I pop over every couple weeks and fill up. Saves me a tenner.
