FT: Spurs 0 - 1 Newcastle. Good stuff. Only Man City can go above us now if they beat Sunderland later, and that will only be on goal difference. I think I could just about take being 4th over the International break.

Amen, United beat Arsenal by 2 or 3 and we have the chance to leapfrog them in a couple of weeks on goal diff

Sunderland playing well. In a strange way, it reminds me of us against Man City when we won 3-1.
Its strange willing teams at the bottom to win, I find myself fighting my on-board computer doing this. But we are 3rd, & currently we are staying 3rd!

Ha yeah. I keep doing the same. Seeing a team in the bottom half winning and thinking Damn,...then I realise that it really is of no consequence to us anymore.
Well, Sunderland keeping Man City off our tail is a possible consequence that I'm taking slight notice of at present. And Newcastle kept Spurs out earlier. Hardly inconsequential.
