Looked up on Wiki and their first team is quite experienced (politeness for being long in the tooth,) while they have a lot of fringe players that brings the average age down to 25.2. So you are right, and, partially wrong Serbs!! Here´s to Fulham in the play-off final with the youth of Sessegnon outwittting the ancientness of John Terry.
Everton may have to pay damages to Watford after they claimed that results deteriorated after an illegal approach was made for Silva. Everton have previous for doing this as we know.
I hope it goes through. Sack Sam, pay out, hire Silva, pay up. Then the pressure of expectations & that bloated over rated squad starts dragging results down. Should make for an amusing story next season.
Did he really deserve the sack...after all Everton aren't City or Chelsea. I know we sacked Puel after achieving a similar league position...but still.
The fans hated him from day 1 and were very vocal about it. At their final game against West Ham the whole stadium were singing "You're just a fat David Moyes" (it was at West Ham) which I found pretty funny. He was brought in to keep them up, he has done that now they will be looking for a manager to progress them and take them forward rather than one of the old guard of the PL who has a bit of a glass ceiling in terms of where he can get a team. Hmmmm this sounds familiar..
If they hated him and showed it from the beginning when he was trying to save their season, Everton fans are idiots. Don't have to say that really, do I?
If it was made clear that he was just there til the end of the season then I think they would've accepted it, but he was given a 2 year contract I believe which they all kicked off about. My mate is an Everton season ticket holder and he hasn't been since he was appointed, they really dislike him.
