Still got to me when I reached the end of the article and thought "no Spurs? No City?" before remembering that, yes, it's covering the top six, and yes, we're in it and they aren't.

I overshot Saints because I'm so used to us being lower alphabetically...great to scroll back because of course we are third.

 

Remember that whilst it is a national newspaper, it is the Mirror.

While I agree we need some football to discuss, this is a great little post for any of us who have yet to have the humour by-pass. My problem is that I don't get the pop comparisons too well. I'd have us as The Arctic Monkeys.

We have:

been written off in many quarters as a flash in the pan;
made changes that surprise people;
a young but experienced squad;
clear staying power and the potential for longevity.

 

Ha, the Chelsea one is amusing.
