All that really? Probably the most watched league in the world, maybe even the most attractive to outsiders.. But is it really all that...Or is it just the money? National squad............................****e.. English teams fail in Euorope yet again...Chelsea only club left, with the failings of the mighty N/W teams.... So is it really any better standard than the Spanish German etc?
****ing right it is, Spain is tappy tappy loads of space, German is the rules must be obeyed at all times, and ve ask de questions, sorry but Pl is the most entertaining and next the Dutch as it is played close to our game. National side main reason we don't succeed is we are not trained to cheat as well as the continentals,
I think the attraction on the prem is the fact that the teams at the bottom can and do often beat the teams at the top , rarely happens in other leagues around europe .
I think the fact that the Spanish sides are dominating both the Europa League and the Champions League says a lot. Athletic Bilbao were far superior to Man United, supposedly the best English team, and they're not even in the top half of La Liga!
Premier league isn't what it was five years ago. The Spanish league is generally better quality at the top but worse at the bottom though.
Man U is a one off season, then how come Fulham went so far in the Europa League and they are a pretty average PL side
I definatly think the Bundesliga has closed the gap and may well take over. If our sides do as bad in Europe next year we are in danger of losing a champions league berth like serie a did to the bundesliga this year. La liga Prem Bundesliga serie a Ligue 1
The overall quality of the Spanish league is better IMO. The intensity and watchability of English football is second to none (except Swansea & Stoke, dullllll) Roger, Dutch is a good watch, absolutely, but the overall standard of the players is far below the top leagues, competitive, fast paced, but some of the players are League 1 at best.
