We have to accept it, there's nothing we can do. Sam's gone. I'm trying to look for positives and have come up with this: 1. Because we change our managers regularly, having a new one coming in is no big deal. We're used to this situation and know how to handle it with all the practice and know how we have regarding manager change. 2. We have got (or will soon) our annual manager change done nice and early this season so we can look forward to a full season under one manager (unless it's Moyes and Scotland decide to change their manager). 3. We might get off to a decent start by having the 'new manager bounce' effect although we usually change managers after a poor run which isn't the case with Sam. We really didn't need a change anyway what with the mags down with the kickabouts. The least we can expect is the lads trying to impress the new boss. 4. There's a decent chance that Defoe will get called up for England and an outside chance that Casserole and Whatmore may figure. Others maybe? 5. If it is Moyes, he will have a good idea of what's decent and available in Spain. Anything else?
The sun'll come out . . . . tomorrow Bet your bottom dollar, that tomorrow Come what may . . . . or June, or July Probably
One positive for me at present and that is in just 9 months Sam has left us in a stronger position. He delivered us a very good January window, a strong window we were utterly desperate for
He's only 53. Has bags of experience. Knows the prem aswell as anyone. An eye for a player. Respected manager. Can build a team. Longevity. Yep im for him. #moyin
Bet I know what you are having for tea tonight? I know, it smells nice when it's cooking and sometimes the smell can bend the brain a bit..
