1. Cardiff & Ipswich lost which means we're 7 points clear of 7th = we'll be in the playoffs 2. Hernandez & Diomande both scored can't think of any more.. the negatives: 1. Bruce is out of ideas 2. We've no momentum 3. The owners, fans, players & staff are all at odds with each other 4. Where are the leaders in this team? Thought Livermore would be an Ash type but he's not
More positives: Twice came from behind. Played much, much better with two proper strikers up front. Substitutes each had an impact. The latter two changed the game. Fans were vocal. Nobody forced to sit down.
Agreed. we need to find our form from now til end of season. Then it all starts again in the play offs
The fixtures we have is the perfect set to get some form together. That said, would it benefit us to play at home first or away? If we played at home first, get some sort of result to take away and defend it. Or play away first, more chance of losing and having to try and scrap it back at home?
Did you go on TT cortez Another posative is this coach has plug sockets Juniors music players plugged in so they havent gone flat
If Bruce grows a pair and plays attacking football with two strikers for the rest of the season we still have a great chance of going up via the play-offs. It's down to you now Steve, let's see some fighting spirit !!!
I think you are right about us playing Derby as I believe I heard Bruce say 3rd may be difficult in his RH interview with Burnsy.
Take it you didn't go then? Most people stood and there was an empty section at the right hand side where the few that wanted to sit could do so without hassle. It worked well and was one of our best away followings for a while, I took a non-City fan with me and he commented on how good our support was.
Some people may have had to sit down due to health reasons but I'm with you, they're a ****ing disgrace. Plastics.
First time I've seen us not get hammered there. Massive positive in itself as we've had some real drubbings there, we've had 4 points out of 6 off them this season which is acceptable. Agree Hull City is at war with itself at the moment. Massive massive arguments after the first goal and finger pointing at Elmohamedy, who of course blames everyone else. Can only imagine what was said in the dressing room at half time. Hudders were timewasting and hanging on for a draw long before the end, and their goal was their first attack in ages- against the run of play. Shows how much we are feared when teams are hanging in at home for a point against us. Credit to City for coming back and still believing. A point there is neither good nor bad, just that right now we needed a won at all costs and we couldn't grind one out and conceded 2 goals against a team we should be able to shut out. We were trying too hard and over anxious at times. Maybe that's what happens when we 'go for it' - we leak goals against modest teams. The playoffs are a long way off so still time to find our mojo again.
This is the first time, as a supporter of Bruce, that I have to concede he has run out of ideas. I'm not having the cliche of him having lost the dressing room, but the players lack confidence. I've wondered ever since his poor handling of the Livermore situation whether his problem is that he lacks imagination. I don't relish the play-offs. This season there is more pressure than ever before and our team don't look strong enough to deal with it, sadly. I don't fancy our chances in the Prem anyway, not with Bruce in charge of this squad, anyway. Sorry, Steve, but it's time to walk away at the end of the season, regardless of what league we are in.
I had to move to the back as someone told me to sit down the minute we kicked off, then a steward asked us to sit down because the people behind wanted to sit down, I told them to **** off down to the seats I'd vacated at the front. Apart from that, we were very good today, most stood and made plenty of noise, it seemed like there were more than the 2,200 announced. The two drums were embarrassing.
