I would post this on the Peterbrough board but it'd be a bit pointless seeing as their board is about as lively as a fish pond full of creosote. And one of your lt must know...

Anyway I was wondering the other day why they're called the posh, as the place is a total complete and utter **** hole! Anyone know?

I think it's because they like irony, as in they think they are our rivals, so you see posh and our rivals, ironic

Does anybody see them as a rival in any form of the word?

I live in Rutland which is probably just closer to Peterborough.

I have mates who support Posh so it's always good to beat them, but it's not a game I look out for in particular. Although Peterborough away is always brilliant.

It also doesn't say whether 'posh team' was said with any irony or not.

The Passport office, there must be some posh people who pass through there occasionally!

Without wanting to sound racist, the passport office was run entirely by immigrants, no wonder they get here so easily. Travesty.
