It was obvious right after the vote it would cause problems.....Leave or remain did not have enough percentage for it to ever work. 48 . whatever % did not give leave 52. something enough % to carry it through.......There is no option other than having another vote and hope a much bigger percentage can be achieved by one of them and if it is very close again then Brexit should be scrapped for at least a decade. All that is happening now is massive uncertainty and the cost is out of control dragging the UK down.
When the UK is split right down the middle we will never reach a democratic decision. Whether you voted leave or remain there is not enough percentage for either side to win. Brexit was ill thought out right at the beginning with Cameron called for an Advisory vote and most of the country really did not understand Brexit and what it means. There were lies and exaggerations from both sides of the divide that people would get confused....52/48 was bound to cause problems and should have been either voted on again to see if either could increase their percentage of the vote or they should scrap Brexit for a decade to see if public opinion has changed and there will be a clear winner....
