Apples vary hugely in variety, and the dull stuff we get in UK (mostly foreign) is sometimes a year old having been kept in cold storage.

I have number of apple trees here in rural West Sussex. A Cox's Orange Pippin fresh off the tree is a massively more enjoyable experience than the potato-like offering we get in shops.

Pretty sure those are regular Russian forces taking up positions to defend buildings from Wagner Group, who are reportedly on their way.

I would have thought the fact that Wagner "appears" to care about the lives of his troops may be persuasive for the average Russian conscript who has seen friends shot by Kremlin squads for retreating.

You didn't believe me - shame on you!

It now looks like Wagner are making their move....can't believe he'll topple Putin but this is going to severly dent the progress of his "special operation" in Ukraine. Be interesting now to see how the Russian military respond to this....talk of the Nationsl Guard refusing to fight against Wagner.

I'd be surprised if that happened, but could absolutely prove pivotal if it does.

Still think it is strange, that such a big powerful country such a Russia has to use a private army to fight its war....and nobody says " hey we are big bad Russua we fight our own wars"

Obviously I would not be allowed to think that in Russia. I get that

I am also still worried about the Wagner group. They seem to pop up everywhere..Syria, other places in Africa...Sudan???
