Maybe. It’s always old, less educated and generally white blokes who most strongly support these things. As with the Brexit majority that was eroded within months, that naturally will change.

I don’t think there’ll be the general shift right as much as previous generations because 1) they’ve lived through the last 13 years of this **** and 2) living standards are getting worse and just getting on in life is much harder than it was 20 years ago.

Living standards vary through history. I lived through the 1970's and that was dire. It's hard to predict the future, but most people's political views do tend to move to the right as they grow up :emoticon-0100-smile

There seems to be a malaise among a lot of youngsters (and others). Don't want to work Mondays, want Friday's off for a long w/e, the rest working from home - and all for the same pay. The difficulty in buying houses is probably a big disincentive. At least in the 1980's there was something to save up for. Wealthy foreign buyers purchasing properties for investment in cities and leaving them vacant should be stopped .

I based it on the Savanta poll. That bore what I said out. I accept polls do vary, but the vast majority show public concern over illegal immigration. That is what Labour have to deal with at the next GE.

This is what you said…..and it’s clearly a lie to suit your own argument. Luckily “Goldies word” is not taken as absolute in this board and statements like that will be checked for their factual inaccuracy. You’ve been caught out, as you were the previous day.

That is what the Savanta poll found. All your subsequent claims that "Don't knows" should be included were rubbish, and your claim (made twice) that I included "Don't knows" to make up numbers were clear lies, so you're a hypocrite as well as a liar. Doesn't get much worse in my eyes.

Your right wing lies are there for all to see…..and I called them out. The fact you continue to spout those lies is again, a stain on your character.
